MERO sources fine-flavour cocoa from Uganda’s premier cocoa-growing districts of Bundibugyo, Kyenjojo, and Mubende in Western Uganda. The cocoa is grown by smallholder farmers in agroforestry systems, fermented in wooden boxes for 5–7 days, and sun-dried on raised beds to achieve optimal moisture levels and full flavour development.
Suitable for bean-to-bar craft chocolate manufacturers, couverture producers, and specialty cocoa traders seeking a unique West African-style origin from East Africa.
